QuarkXPress Sample

Quark was another application I used to train on. It came in handy at Raritan, when I had to devise QSGs, Quick Setup Guides, that were printed on oversized paper and included with every product that left our warehouse. I love the precision of Quark; it doesn't allow for any cheating!

The following is the QSG for Raritan's Dominion KX device. When the company wanted to expand, I became the Translation Manager and besides working on standardizing our user guides, I had to calculate the QSG spacing so that the foreign language text would fit into the same area. That's not easy when you consider all of the characters in the Cantonese language...
